Download the Basketball Statistical Software for Team Athletics by downloading the InstallBasketball.zip file from this website, unzipping all files to your PC's "c:\InstallBasketball" directory, and double-clicking on the "c:\InstallBasketball\setup.exe" file.

Download the Voice Recognition software by downloading the InstallVoice.zip file from this website, unzipping all files to your PC's "c:\InstallVoice" directory, and double-clicking on the "c:\InstallVoice\setup.exe" file.

The Basketball Statistical Software for Team Athletics User's Guide/Reference Manual is downloaded automatically when downloading the InstallBasketball.zip file.  The name of the User's Guide/Reference Manual is Basketball.pdf and can be read/printed via Adobe® Acrobat Reader.

Special Installation Instructions

Windows®-95:

1. Install the Basketball Statistical Software for Team Athletics (follow the installation instructions on pg. 2 of your User's Guide/Reference Manual or from the above download instructions).

2. Install dcom95.exe from the installation CD or from your PC's "c:\InstallBasketball" directory (after download) by double-clicking on the dcom95.exe residing there.  The installation CD can be accessed via your CD-ROM Drive from your PC's My Computer icon on your PC's desktop.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Install mdac_typ.exe from the installation CD or from your PC's "c:\InstallBasketball" directory (after download) by double-clicking on the mdac_type.exe residing there.  The installation CD can be accessed via your CD-ROM Drive from your PC's My Computer icon on your PC's desktop.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE:  You will need to perform these installations in order to update your PC's shared system components (see pg. 5 of your User's Guide/Reference Manual).

Windows®-98 (1st Edition):  (NOTE:  dcom95.exe not required)

1. Install the Basketball Statistical Software for Team Athletics (follow the installation instructions on pg. 2 of your User's Guide/Reference Manual or from the above download instructions).

2. Install mdac_typ.exe from the installation CD or from your PC's "c:\InstallBasketball" directory (after download) by double-clicking on the mdac_type.exe residing there.  The installation CD can be accessed via your CD-ROM Drive from your PC's My Computer icon on your PC's desktop.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE:  You will need to perform these installations in order to update your PC's shared system components (see pg. 5 of your User's Guide/Reference Manual).

DCOM95 and MDAC_TYP installations should not be needed for versions of Windows® not listed above.  HOWEVER, if you run into execution issues described on pg. 5 of your User’s Guide/Reference Manual, you will probably have to install MDAC_TYP only.  ONLY INSTALL DCOM95 on PCs that are running WINDOWS®-95.

Installation Note for Windows®-XP Users

Be patient when installing the software on PCs running Windows®-XP.  We have noticed that it takes a little longer for the installer to boot under Windows®-XP.  If you notice that the installer does not boot, double-click on the setup.exe file found either on your Installation CD or in your PC's "c:\InstallBasketball" directory (after download).  Be patient since the boot will not be instantaneous.
